Welcome to Synergy Wales
A Complementary Therapy is a form of treatment or management of a condition that complements what a doctor would do in the same situation. In some cases, with more serious conditions, a combination of the two can be more effective than either used on its own.
Traditional, holistic methods of treating illness or ‘dis-ease’ encompass many principles and virtually every culture on the planet in the past 3,000 years has developed its methods of complementary health techniques.
Here at Synergy Wales we offer our clients many different types of complementary therapies. All of which may help improve a wide variety of illnesses and stress related conditions, such as headaches, insomnia, anxiety and panic attacks, depression, fatigue, muscle aches and pains, arthritis, chronic pain, skin problems, joint, back or neck pain, PMT, menopausal symptoms, IBS, anxiety related asthma and breathing problems and sinus complaints; all without the use of drugs and the possible side effects that sometimes come with their use.
Complementary therapies are not only about helping to heal the body when something has gone wrong, but are also used to keep us well. The concept of wellness is much more than being momentarily healthy between bouts of illness. It rests on the knowledge that we are complex beings which, from every moment to moment, have subtle interactions between body, mind and soul, with all three connected to the environment in which we live and the other people who inhabit it.
By taking time out to receive an Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, or Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Hopi Ear Candling, Reiki, or by having Yoga, or Relaxation and Meditation tuition or by learning infant massage, you will be helping yourself in restoring the mind-body balance and start to create a sense of wellbeing and positive acceptance of your life.
